What to expect during a Juvéderm appointment
Once patients have decided to have their face treated with cosmetic injectables such as Juvéderm, they are encouraged to ask questions about what they can expect during their treatment appointment. Juvéderm is done quickly and easily right in our office while patients relax in the treatment chair. Our doctors will assess the areas that need to be improved, and provide steady, gentle injections in these areas. Patients will only be in the chair for a few minutes as our doctors work to improve the texture of the skin. Patients then leave the practice with aftercare instructions and are often able to return to their busy schedule with no interruption. One of the great things about Juvéderm injections is that patients do not need to schedule social downtime for recovery, versus traditional plastic surgeries which require downtime.
How long does Juvéderm last?
Many patients love Juvéderm because the results are long-lasting. Most areas treated will maintain the results for approximately six months or longer after the first injection.
